Smooth Transitions: China Airlines Chooses Lufthansa Technik for Aircraft Transition Services
In a significant partnership, China Airlines (CAL) has selected Lufthansa Technik AG to provide Aircraft Transition Services for its fleet. This collaboration underscores the trusted relationship between the Taiwan-based carrier and the world’s premier MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) provider. Their recently inked three-year contract will oversee the transition of 12 Boeing 737-800 and 17 Airbus A330 leased aircraft within China Airlines’ fleet. A total of 29 projects are slated across various locations in the Asia-Pacific region.
